Here in Kentucky today it is -2 degrees!  Insane!  To keep me moving – I tend to want to hibernate when it is this freaking cold!! – I am working on a few exciting events.  Besides the many fabulous weddings we have coming up we also have some fantastic corporate events and even our very own bridal show in August.

To keep you motivated I am going to talk about Facebook!

For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about (doubt there are too many of you), Facebook is a free online social networking site whick can be quite addictive as well as productive.

I love it for the networking aspect of it.  If you, like me, own your own business or are a business professional it is a great resource for meeting people and even clients.  I have yet to actually meet a client from Facebook, but i am able to keep in touch with past and present clients.  It really is nice to be able to comment on pictures, status updates and more all while keeping me connected to friends, past classmates, clients and especially people in the wedding and event world.

If you are already on Facebook or thinking about it – be sure to add us to our friend list.  Here is our info.

Be sure to check out our upcoming events too!

General // No Comments

Most of you may already know that I love color!  Lately I have been into neutrals, but these fabulous blogs bring me out of my state of boredom and into a color overload.  My all-time favorite color is Turqouise (and most other shades of blue).  You may be redecorating, re-arranging, planning an event or wedding or just simply looking for something in a certain color.  Whatever reason you may have – you simply must check out these colorific blogs!  Already added to my Love-it folder!

Referrals!

Corporate, General, vendors, weddings // No Comments

Want to know the best way to say “thank you”?….   Referrals!  ;)

We work very hard to make sure you, your bridal party, your family and your guests have the very best experience when it comes to your wedding.  While we love to hear all of the praise at the end of the night (and we really do appreciate it-I promise!!), there is something a little more rewarding about an actual referral.  When a potential client calls and says “so and so referred me”, well it just brings a sweet flutter to my heart.  I know- how corny!!  But it’s so true.

You may be a vendor, a client, a potential client or just someone who reads this blog.  Whoever you are and wherever you are (oh, did I mention we travel?) always know that we love referrals and we would love to refer to you as well.  Just send us your info and we will gladly refer to you too.

It really is hard to believe that 2008 is 2/3 of the way over and the holidays are fast approaching.  Always Planned has been swamped with some wonderful weddings, anniversary parties and even a great ladies retreat coming up (YEA!! 2008 Darby Hen Party!).

2009 is looking to be a busy year as well.  We already have 4 fabulous weddings on the books for next year and May only has one date available.  If you, or someone you know, is planning on getting married in 2009 or even 2010, be sure to give us a call for a complimentary consultation – 859.619.1841 – or email me at Rayna@AlwaysPlanned.com.  Talk to you soon!

It’s about time!

weddings // No Comments

Sorry for such a long delay in postings.  We have been very busy with some truly southern weddings.  Kentucky weather has been perfect lately and October 10th was no exception.

When I met Mary and Billy in Feburary, I knew we were going to have a great time doing their wedding.  Imagine an outdoor fall wedding with pink and green everywhere!  I know, it’s not your traditional fall wedding colors but this is not your traditional wedding.  Mary and Billy are still in Ireland, on their amazing honeymoon, and I can’t wait to chat with them when they get back.

Here are some details.  More Pictures coming soon.

Personalized touches…

Uncategorized // No Comments

Here is one great fun way to personalize your wedding or any other event for that matter.  I think we may do these for the Darby Hen Party (a weekend gathering of 20 fabulous ladies, 4 generations!) that we plan every year.

Instead of doing these as favors, why not use them for your signature drink and for your toast.  Would make for some fantastic photos and you can keep a few to drink on your anniversary!

Congrats Danielle and Kris!

weddings // No Comments

We have been very busy this fall with some of the most fantastic couples and weddings.  Danielle and Kris have been so incredible to work with and I will miss them now that their perfect day has gone off so perfectly.  They have just returned from their romantic honeymoon in Jamaica!  I must say I am very jealous.  I wish them all of the happiness in the world.

Always Planned took care of the reception decorating and management.  The bride came up with all of the decor, the amazing cake was from Caramanda’s, linens from Purdon’s and catering by Bake-My-Day.  The cake was stunning and tasted just as delicious as it looked.  We almost did not want to cut it!  Professional Pics to follow.

Southern Weddings…

weddings // No Comments

I am so in love with the blog over at Southern Weddings Magazine.  One of my fav photographers – Todd Pellowe, was recently featured, and besides that they always have some of the most stylish, romantic and completely southern weddings I have ever seen.  I am thinking that one of the fabulous weddings designed by Always Planned should be featured at some pont…. ;)

Until then, check out this fantastic yellow and black themed wedding.  Not only is the bride stunning, but the colors are totally hot together! Check out more images from the photographer, DrewB.
