Homemade Fabric Wedding Banners
Colored and patterned flags add a vintage touch and offer a pop of color to your ceremony or reception space.
Materials Needed: Colored string or yarn, fabric glue, scissors, wallpaper samples or colored fabric swatches.
Instructions: Trace two inverted triangles (with their bases touching each other so the tips of each face in opposite directions) on to your fabric or wallpaper and then carefully cut it out in one big piece. Gently add fabric glue to one side of your piece and then fold over the end of your length string or yarn (so the base of your triangle is pressed securely around it). Smooth the two pieces of fabric or wallpaper together around the string to ensure no openings are left between them. Repeat this process until you have 2-4 foot-long banner you can hang over a doorway or behind your cake or dessert table.
