I was working on favors for a bride yesterday and was having no luck thinking of anything different. Favors become so boring and a waste of money with boxes of chocolates, matches and all the other items that either get left on the table or thrown in the trash as soon as you get home. I can’t tell you how many favors we collect at the end of the night when cleaning up a reception.

I really wanted something that wasn’t tacky and had a southern charm to it…. and then I found it!! Personalized tea bags!!! (You can find them on Etsy) In the South we love our tea and personalizing them made them so precious!! I thought about it and took it a step further. At each place setting we could place a teacup and have the teabag sitting in it. It would be an adorable way to display. So, not only would the guests get the cute little tea bag, but a teacup as well. Some of the tea bags were actually reusable!! I had it… a very elegant favor that wasn’t tacky, southern, elegant and actually useful that someone would want to take home!!! Plus, it will look amazing at the place setting for the table. I love it!!
