What a fantastic year for Always Planned!  Two wedding where we get to work with the amazingly talented ladies at Angela Anderson Photography!

Erin and Greg were married at the beautiful Barn at  Talon Winery in Lexington, KY on Thursday June 17, 2010 and it was hot!  Hot as in temperature and in style. :) Her florist Jeanie Gorrell did an amazing job with the flowers and Lundy’s Special Events did all of her linens and catering.  The food was amazing!

Erin was such a fun and relaxed bride who was ready to have a great time and get married. The pictures are beautiful!!  See for yourself!   Check out the full blog post over at www.Angela-Blog.com

2.  What is your favorite …. place to shop, food, drink, etc..  I like to shop at New York & CO., Old Navy, & Walmart. I love to cook just about anything and could drink raspberry lemonade all day!
3.  When did you start with Always Planned?  Oct., 2008
4.  How did you meet Rayna?   I met Rayna in 2004 at a mutual work place/dungeon that drove us crazy for too many years!!
5.  What is your specialty at events/weddings?  I guess my specialty was bar tending??
6.  Favorite part of weddings?  My favorite part of a wedding is watching the bride go down the aisle. Feeding each other cake at the reception is also a fave.
7.  Favorite Wedding?  Anne & Chris’s wedding was beautiful.
8.  Best part of Team AP?  Hanging out with Rayna again, we used to see each other everyday.
9.  Where do you fit in in the Future of AP?  Hopefully as my kids get older I can be more involved with AP.

This week we are discussing invitations for our $10,000 budget wedding.  I know it has been a little while since our last budget wedding post so in case you forgot our Remaining Budget is: $5,539

We have covered the bride and groom’s attire, the linens, tables, chairs and food.  We still have some big ticket items left.  So lets get moving.

Invitations – your wedding invitations can be as elaborate as you want or as simple.  The key is that they dictate the overall style of your event.  Since our wedding is simple garden elegance and a brunch at that we need nothing more than a simply elegant invitation.

To continue with our garden theme and the colors we have chosen the Climbing Sunflowers invitation from Anne’s Bridal Bargins.

100 invites, with lined envelopes and rsvp cards all printed with return addresses – $164

Decor:

Flowers are the most often used centerpieces, however non-floral centerpieces are becoming incredibly popular.  Since we are going with a summer garden theme in KY it is only fitting that we use flowers.  So here are our centerpieces. A collection of roses, delphinium, sweat pea and greenery.  8 guest tables and 1 larger arrangement in a similar style for the buffet.

Floral arrangements done by Always Planned!

Total cost of reception decor: $750

Ceremony decor to consist of rose petal aisle and two large arrangements – total cost $250

Remaining Budget: $4,375

You already know that Always Planned can do weddings all over Central and Eastern Kentucky, but did you know that we also do weddings all over the United States as well as the Caribbean, Europe and pretty much anywhere?

We are so very excited to announce that we are partnering with Beach House rentals to provide you with the most experienced Beach Wedding Specialist in our area.  Have you ever thought that your dream destination beach wedding is out of reach?   Have you ever started to think about your beach wedding only to get frustrated and overwhelmed because there are too many choices and decisions to make and you feel too far away?  If so, or if you already know you need some assistance, then you have stopped at the right place.

Beach House Rentals specializes in luxury beach homes perfect for your beach wedding (or vacation) in the Navarre Beach, FL area, which is very close to Destin, FL and the Gulf Shores, AL area.

You may already know that it is extremely important to have a local bridal consultant or wedding planner for your destination wedding.  Why?  By using someone that lives in your area, you will have a personal connection to your wedding.  That may not be important to you, but having someone you can trust  and has your best interest at heart, is one of the most valuable things you can have on your wedding day.  We also know vendors from the area, their personalities and their reputations.  You may not have time to visit the location prior to your wedding – no need to worry.  We have already visited this area and will have tons of pictures available for you to feel like you have already been there.

I really love what I do!  Tuesday I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Belterra Casino Resort & Spa.  Alecia McAllister, the Catering Sales Coordinator, introduced me to the first class staff and gave me the grand tour of this luxurious space.  Belterra offers many different meeting spaces and ballrooms and they are ready for your fabulous wedding, company gala or family reunion as well as every event in between.

With a Starbucks, Jeff Ruby’s Restaurant, Championship Golf Course and outstanding accommodations (oh and how can I forget the casino?!?) why would you go anywhere else?

The outstanding service was everywhere I turned and I could not help but want to plan a wedding or event here soon.   You are sure to have the most wonderful experience when it comes to your next vacation, corporate event or your fabulous destination wedding.
