We got an email from Stacy a few months ago after she had become a little overwhelmed with the planning since she was living in California, but getting married here. Her sweet mother (who the whole AP team fell in love with) was helping her with a lot of it, but we came in and gave them all a little more peace of mind. The day was just as beautiful as the bride with perfect weather except for being a little warm:-) The ceremony was very traditional held at Crestwood Christian Church and from the reception followed at Keeneland where guests, family and bridal party danced the night away. Below are the vendors who made this day happen and some absolutely gorgeous pictures from Stacy and Chad’s wedding taken by the amazing SB Childs Photography.

The fabulous Crist Creona lead Anna and George (who just so happened to be Crist’s nephew) to Always Planned and we knew automatically that their wedding was going to be a fabulous affair! Anna and George reside together in North Carolina, but with George’s family all here in Kentucky they knew that Lexington would be the perfect spot for their ceremony.

George’s family is all Greek, so they decided to have a traditional Greek Ceremony at the St. Andrews Orthodox church and follow up with a reception at the Boone Center on UK’s campus. I personally had never had the opportunity to be a part or even witness a Greek ceremony, but I must say it was absolutely beautiful and very touching.

The reception to follow was nothing short of a good time, with both an American Band and a traditional Greek Duo. Guests partied and danced all night long which the Live Event Artist was able to capture. There was both a traditional wedding cake by Martines and then homemade greek pastries made by the groom’s family.  It was lovely to see how both American and Greek traditions were all brought together to create such a magical evening. At the end of the night, Anna and George were whisked away in their Cadillac and began their honeymoon which would lead them to the breathtaking country of Switzerland.

They were a wonderful couple and family to work with and we wish them all of the happiness in the world. Below you can check out some of the beautiful images captured by Rob Mould and the list of top-notch vendors that pulled this amazing event together.
