I met Cindy at a bridal show wondering around by herself and knew instantly I needed to help this woman:-).   Cindy explained to me that her daughter lives in Virginia and would be getting married in Lexington, therefore leaving her to plan a lot of the wedding.  She came in and met with AP, brought Kristin and Scott in a week later and the bond was formed. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed our meetings with Cindy and was so excited for her and Kristin on the big day to see all of their dreams and plans become a reality.

Kristin and Scott got ready and took pictures at the beautiful Bodley Bullock House. It was raining cats and dogs, but through Josh Merideth’s (of Bella Grace Studio) perseverance the photos are beautiful. The ceremony took place at the First Presbyterian Church where guests were able to sign the adorable puzzle that served as a guestbook.   The traditional ceremony was a perfect fit for them.  Kristin and Scott then left the church amongst tons of pink and white balloons, leaving in a vintage Bentley and headed to the Lexington Country Club for their reception.

I must say this was one my most favorite receptions that we have ever been a part of…. the scroll design linens with the gorgeous pink, purple and green centerpieces absolutely transformed the country club. Plus the band performing, The Mighty Kicks, kept the place hoping all night long.  Never have I seen every guest at a reception all dancing on the dance floor until the end of the night.  Everybody was asking for an encore…. even the AP team got into the action!

It really was honor to get to work this family and we hope they keep in touch!! Congrats Kristin and Scott!

If your not already familiar with it, 21C is a museum and hotel in Downtown Louisville dedicated soley to 21st century art.

Talk about a modern place to have an event!  It is one of the most unique and probably the most art-filled locations for a wedding in Louisville–even their restrooms are a work of art! {seriously, check it out}

The Penthouse with rooftop garden is a super swank ceremony location that overlooks the Ohio River and Downtown Louisville.  They have all kinds of luxury amenities, and were voted #1 Hotel in the USA last year.  My favorite perk of having an event at 21C is the fact that they offer their atrium projector {usually reserved for world famous works of art} for all weddings and rehearsal dinners.  Meaning you could have a personalized slide show among several works of 21st century art!

And lets not forget about Proof on Main, 21C’s in-house restaurant that boasts amazing local cuisine with a Tuscan Spirit.  Quite possibly my favorite part of 21C is the adorable 4ft tall red penguins that are strategically placed all over the museum and act as its mascot.  For more information about 21C weddings visit their website or click here.

Check out these photos from our friend Josh at Bellagrace Studios of Louisville. See even more amazing photos of this wedding at Bellagrace Studios’ Blog by clicking here.

I heart the chandeleir light post!

Josie and Adam had a rooftop ceremony :)

When I met with Lindsey and her mom, Tommie, in January I knew this wedding was going to be special!  Lindsey described the beautiful garden wedding she desired in an array of pinks.  Her stunning venue, The Headley-Whitney Museum, screamed of an outdoor Kentucky Garden Wedding.  Lindsey wanted something different, unique and fun!  Always Planned took Lindsey’s style and personality along with the beautiful setting of the Headley-Whitney Museum and created a flawless outdoor garden wedding and tent reception that definitely was different, unique and fun!  Just what she wanted!   I could not be happier with the results!

Lindsey and Jayson are still on their honeymoon, but the rave reviews have just been pouring in.  We can’t stop blushing!

Rayna,
Everyone I’ve talked to says this was the best wedding they’d ever been to and I attribute that to you and the rest of the Always Panned team, Thank You.  -  Jeff Minnick

With the help of the amazing Rayna and her Always Planned team, the Headley Whitney was transformed into an exquisite wedding where every detail was just perfect. I would recommend Rayna to all of our amazing brides!   -  Josh Merideth, Bella Grace Studios
