Lead Design and Event Producer

Rayna Ortwein, owner of Always Planned, is a true Kentucky girl!  She grew up in a small town in eastern Kentucky and has lived throughout central and eastern Kentucky her entire life.  Graduating from Montgomery County High School, she later attended the University of Kentucky and Penn Foster University where she received the Professional Bridal Consultant (PBC) designation. In December of 2003 she met the man of her dreams and in May 2005 they married in a romantic outdoor ceremony at Talon Winery.  Andrew and Rayna live in Lexington, KY with their cat Sophie and dog Molly.

Recipient of the 2009 SBA Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Rayna is also the owner of Simply Love Studio, LLC located in Lexington, KY.   Rayna loves to travel the world, meet new people and is totally addicted to shopping.

She is an active member of Lexington Young Professionals Association (LYPA) and the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) Giving back to the community is one of Rayna’s primary passions.  She has been involved in Habitat for Humanity Woman Build, Hospice of the Bluegrass, Hope Hill Children’s Home, The Pink Initiative and the Susan G. Kolman Foundation.
